Frank Robb (1948 - 2022) was a celebrated Scottish singer/songwriter who began his career with the folk group, The Crofters and recorded with Decca. Founder member of the successful original Hedgehog Pie group, he turned professional in 1973 and then changed musical direction to found rock band Super Klute, who had a considerable following in Scotland.

Best known as a solo performer, Frank has appeared at home and abroad, delighting audiences with his eclectic mix of original songs and ad lib humour. His strength and sensitivity as a musician and writer was demonstrated in his powerful delivery of songs: his range included traditional and contemporary music and blues alongside a self-penned repertoire.

Keen to promote music locally Frank joined forces with a group of local musicians including;

Yvonne Morton, Alan Walker, Sandy Leggat and Spider McKenzie, who have individual musical interests and performed occasionally together.
