Aberdeen’s very own star singer/songwriter Frank Robb brought

his own group of friends and fellow performers to the Cowdray Hall for a concert which had no difficulty packing the hall to capacity. Alan Cooper

Entertainer Frank Robb (1948 - 2022) appeared throughout Scotland and internationally, delighting audiences with his eclectic mix of original songs and ad lib humour.

 

Armed with guitar and harmonica his talents as musician and singer songwriter ensured a powerful delivery of songs, often tailor made for the occasion.

 

His range included Scottish, traditional and contemporary music - with performances at festivals in the UK and Europe.

 

Frank was also celebrated as an after dinner performer where he excelled as a comic foil with his razor-sharp wit and discerning observational comedy. Appearances included the launch of the DVD release of Men in Black, for Columbia Tristar Pictures.

 

Frank has penned three original albums Silver City, Watching Time and Bought and Sold. He wrote and performed the original theme for the documentary In Search of Aberdeen and composed the music of the BBC Radio series The State of Scotland.
